Weekend In Indy.

This past weekend I went to Indianapolis to visit a few girlfriends. Because Indy is around 2 hours away I don't get to go down to visit often enough. I have known both my friends since high school and now they both have children of their own. Whenever I visit them I get my "baby fix" and sometimes it's nice to just get away for a girly weekend. I honestly don't even care what we do, just that I'm not at home. At home there are always chores to do. Sometimes in order for me to relax, really relax, I have to leave. So, I left right after work on Friday and drove like a maniac to my friend Angie's house.
Once there, I kept myself occupied with several rounds of "Where's Tori?"
She loved it and could play for hours! She's getting so big. I can't believe her 1st Birthday is this week! Later, Angie and I worked on a mural in Tori's bedroom that we began this time last year. It's slow going.
I spent most of my time working on Ariel's face. There's a lot of detail work that I enjoy and Angie completely hates. I think it's coming along nicely. Maybe we'll finish before she graduates from high school.
Saturday afternoon we met up with my other girlfriend Gina for lunch and a day of shopping. We didn't really buy too much but really enjoyed the time together anyway.
Some of us had a rough day of shopping. We'll break her in eventually.
Notice my girlfriend Gina's cute flowered top. It was adorable and I forgot to ask her were she got it. Overall a great weekend spent with great friends! I can't wait for the next one!

How fun! That mural is amazing. Was it hand drawn? I always cheat and use an overhead projector for stuff like that. Impressive painting!

Looks like a fun time with friends. That mural is so cool. My son paints mural's. He did a scene from Angelina Ballerina on my grand-daughters wall from the book.
