This week I'm feeling hopeful about my job at the Chamber of Horrors. We have a unique opportunity with our new manager to improve things. We can now make it the workplace we've always wanted. I'm happy that I get to be a part of that. I'm also hopeful that I'll be getting paid more. Currently they are hiring the new graduate employees for only $1 less than I make and I've been there 8 years. And I'm training them.
This couldn't have come at a better time. I was getting so disgruntled that I was about ready to set the place on fire.
Maybe now I'll have put those plans on hold.
I also finally finished Eat,Pray,Love. I enjoyed the book. She tells her story with great humor. It also made me want to travel desperately. Did anyone else read this book? Did you find the part at the Ashram in India to be REALLY SLOW or was that just me? Does this mean I'm not spiritual enough? All her talk about relaxing and meditation was making me tense. I'm not very Zen.

Dude, the part in India was painful. I hated it. It made me dislike the book. Had I stopped after Italy, I would have liked it.
Bali was good, but it couldn't make up for the India part.
Aw crap, I'm discouraged! I guess I'll read the 30 or 40 other books I have stacked up in my to do pile.
I just started reading it and so far I like it but I am only like 20 pages into it, Ill let you know when I get to India.
