I Got a Polo Shirt, What Did You Get?

This past week was National Hospitals Week. The Chamber got us all these as gifts. This is so much better than a raise. Or enough staff to do our jobs properly.

Thanks.

At least you got something. Teacher Appreciation week was a few weeks ago and all we got was a "catered lunch" - tiny salads! Mostly lettuce, 1 kind of dressing. I'd actually have rather had a polo shirt, especially since I don't eat salads. :)

Happy Hospital week from a teacher! :)

Shouldn't you tape over the name of the Chamber? Jus Sayin...
I appreciate all the effort you do for sick people everywhere!!!

Seriously, the reward has to be in being able to make a hospital stay more comfortable (breathing) and even saving lives during a code. No price can be put on that. A polo shirt is minimal, a paycheck is not even enough to experience some of the things you have to experience. (not just from Grandma, but from other peoples loved ones, and the family memebers needs...oh boy I could go on)
So wear your shirt proudly, the feather in your cap even more proudly, knowing you did the
"right thing", all that is humanly possible for the most part on behalf of your patients.

{I'll step down off the soapbox now, quietly slipping away muttering "that's my daughter, she is awesome! Isn't she?"
