Fancy Free and Loving It?

I'm trying to be more positive about my current childless situation. I've been focusing on all the good things about not being pregnant/having a baby.
Here's just a few of the things I've come up with:
  • I can drink as many caffeinated or alcoholic beverages as I want.
  • I can eat any kind of fish or seafood that I want and not worry (too) much about mercury poisoning.
  • I still fit into my "skinny" jeans. Which leads me to.....
  • I can still lose those pesky extra pounds I seem to be carrying with me without depriving anyone other than myself from food.
  • I can run a marathon. I'm doubtful that will happen as I detest running, but at least the option is there.
  • I don't have to watch animated movies unless I actually want to see them.
  • I can sleep 12 hours in a row if I want to. (Now I'm just bragging)
  • I can ride all sorts of amusement park rides. Roller Coasters, Bumper Cars, etc.
  • I can spend a whole day reading a book if I want to. (Again with the bragging!)
  • Two words: HOT BATHS!
  • I can just pick up and go anywhere I want at any time with little-to-no fuss. No carrying around diaper bags, strollers, any of that stuff.
  • I can take any kind of pain reliever I want for my migraines! (This is an awesome one as my headaches are awful)

Hey, this isn't sounding too bad is it? Since I'm getting ready for my 3rd and final round of insemination (3rd time's a charm, right?) next week I'm trying to stay positive and focus on what I DO have.

Are there any other things that you can think of that I'm leaving off the list?

You can go out whenever you want without worrying about a babysitter.

Great list!

Good luck with #3!

It will happen for you baby - when you least expect it (probably not "least" because of the insemination...but)

Did you mention stretch marks or lack there of in your list? No one mentions stretch marks, nasty little suckers.

Your hair won't fall out at your temple and not grow back in!

That is a great list! Here's another: You can go to the bathroom without someone always barging in on you. Privacy is all but lost when you become a mom.

I'm sending positive (fertile) thoughts your way!! :)
