My Mailbox Tried to Kill Me

Okay, So maybe it might have been partially my own fault. I was getting ready to go to work this morning and had to mail a pile of 6 or 7 bills. At 5:30 in the morning I do NOT walk to my mailbox. Even though it's only at the end of my driveway. I'm lazy like that. I decided to drive. I pulled up to my mailbox and opened the door. At the same time that I was placing the bills in the box, my foot slid off the gas pedal. My arm got caught between the mailbox and the window of my car leaving me with a lovely pain shooting up my arm. Yep, that's gonna leave a bruise. And it's a beauty. I hope you can see it in the picture....

Helpful Medical Tip For The Day: When someone is drawing your blood, PLEASE don't scream directly in their ear the entire time. It only makes the process more painful for everyone involved.

I like the bruise it is very attractive. You have to be careful those mailboxes will jump out and attack you, they are a dangerous thing!!!!

The whole "screaming right into your ear while drawing blood" thing never works. My favorite is when a heavily tatooed patient tells me that they are afraid of needles...

Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging!
