We both used to play rough but we both could play quietly on our own too. He used to play with his GI Joe's in his room making up stories and would be quiet as a mouse.

On a side note, anytime I see kids running around like crazed demons in public, I pray that we don't end up with one like that someday.readsalothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14861266539194697668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603932474587143165.post-19249420354765382482010-04-15T14:56:40.971-07:002010-04-15T14:56:40.971-07:00Funny, I'm having a boy, too, and was having t...Funny, I'm having a boy, too, and was having these exact same thoughts with the exact same "puppy dog tails" poem going through my head. It really does depend on the kid.

Don't get too caught up in the "consumerism" of having a baby if you can. If I had to do it all again, I'd keep it much simpler.

That said, people love to spoil babies, especially first ones. If all the "stuff" comes from someone else, by all means, take it!
